Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the were Gazit Globe Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.10% or 143 points to trade at 3632 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TASE:) added 2.22% or 310 points to end at 14270 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.19% or 148 points to 6910 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.78% or 70 points to trade at 2450 at the close. Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:) declined 1.60% or 130 points to end at 8000 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) was down 1.56% or 79 points to 4971.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 206 to 163 and 43 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:) rose to all time highs; up 2.22% or 310 to 14270.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.73% or 1.55 to $55.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.33% or 1.41 to hit $59.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 7.75 to trade at $1529.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.09% to 3.5321, while EUR/ILS fell 0.48% to 3.8822.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 98.763.
