Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.73%.
The best performers of the session on the were GN Store Nord (CSE:), which rose 4.44% or 13.6 points to trade at 319.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) added 4.37% or 24.8 points to end at 591.8 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was up 3.45% or 25.6 points to 767.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which fell 0.91% or 74 points to trade at 8068 at the close. Genmab (CSE:) added 0.17% or 2.0 points to end at 1209.0 and William Demant Holding A/S (CSE:) was up 0.20% or 0.4 points to 204.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 101 to 28 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Coloplast A/S (CSE:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 3.45% or 25.6 to 767.4.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.89% or 0.52 to $58.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.66% or 0.43 to hit $65.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.41% or 19.90 to trade at $1393.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.65% to 6.6067, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4639.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.67% at 96.308.
