The best performers of the session on the were Tele2 AB (ST:), which rose 1.54% or 2.00 points to trade at 132.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:) added 1.36% or 1.85 points to end at 138.00 and Essity AB B (ST:) was up 0.98% or 2.80 points to 287.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:), which fell 1.99% or 9.2 points to trade at 453.3 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:) declined 1.50% or 1.46 points to end at 95.74 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:) was down 1.28% or 1.8 points to 138.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 336 to 294 and 64 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tele2 AB (ST:) rose to 5-year highs; up 1.54% or 2.00 to 132.05. Shares in Essity AB B (ST:) rose to all time highs; rising 0.98% or 2.80 to 287.90.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.89% or 0.52 to $59.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.20% or 0.14 to hit $68.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 5.85 to trade at $1277.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.22% to 10.7017, while USD/SEK rose 0.01% to 9.5803.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 97.800.
