
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.77% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the were Delek Drilling LP (TA:), which rose 3.60% or 39 points to trade at 1122 at the close. Meanwhile, Liveperson (TA:) added 3.47% or 360 points to end at 10730 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:) was up 3.16% or 173 points to 5656 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TA:), which fell 2.26% or 2100 points to trade at 90900 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:) declined 1.59% or 32 points to end at 1978 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TA:) was down 1.00% or 500 points to 49400.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 231 to 156 and 43 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 3.63% or 2.37 to $62.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $71.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 8.60 to trade at $1288.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.18% to 3.6204, while EUR/ILS rose 0.02% to 4.0377.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 97.787.
