Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:), which rose 6.00% or 1.55 points to trade at 27.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:) added 5.40% or 0.64 points to end at 12.50 and Umm Al-Qura (SE:) was up 3.94% or 0.56 points to 14.76 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Savola Group (SE:), which fell 5.47% or 1.80 points to trade at 31.10 at the close. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:) declined 4.38% or 1.80 points to end at 39.30 and Northern Region Cement Co (SE:) was down 4.19% or 0.40 points to 9.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 111 to 72 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 6.00% or 1.55 to 27.40.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.43% or 1.51 to $60.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.48% or 1.77 to hit $69.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1283.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.10% to 4.1948, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 97.398.
