China’s exports dropped the most in three years in February, eclipsing economists expectations, mainly due to the tariffs-driven sharp fall in trade with the US and also because of a shift in the timing of the Chinese New Year. Exports tumbled 20.7 percent year-on-year, which was the biggest fall since February 2016, official customs data showed Friday.

Overall bank lending in Japan was up 2.3 percent on year in February, the Bank of Japan said on Friday – coming in at 533.7 trillion yen.
That was down from 2.4 percent in January.
Excluding trusts, bank lending was up 2.4 percent on year to 464.4 trillion yen – unchanged from the previous month.
