Sep.04 — Golf legend Jack Nicklaus talks about the forthcoming auction of his 18-karat gold Rolex Day-Date wristwatch, the proceeds of which will be given to his Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. Actor Paul Newman’s Rolex Daytona sold for $17.75 million in 2017 while Steve McQueen’s Rolex Submariner timepiece was withdrawn from a Phillips auction last year due to a dispute with the McQueen estate. Nicklaus’s comments come on the latest episode of “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations” recorded on June 18 in New York.
