Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the fell 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the were Kerevitas Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:), which rose 14.08% or 0.29 points to trade at 2.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:) added 8.47% or 0.72 points to end at 9.22 and Gozde Girisim Sermayesi Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:) was up 5.19% or 0.140 points to 2.840 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Yapi ve Kredi Bankasi AS (IS:), which fell 5.98% or 0.150 points to trade at 2.360 at the close. Global Yatirim Holding AS (IS:) declined 3.62% or 0.150 points to end at 3.990 and Turkiye Petrol Rafinerileri AS (IS:) was down 2.76% or 3.60 points to 126.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 191 to 166 and 50 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.39% or 6.05 to $1545.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.84% or 1.01 to hit $55.94 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.78% or 1.05 to trade at $60.08 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.28% to 5.8055, while EUR/TRY fell 0.34% to 6.4344.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 98.067.
