StocksToTrade Takes Nasdaq – StocksToTrade.com

by Shay Richardson

Every field has its own career-defining moments. For musicians, it might be performing in Carnegie Hall. For stage actors, it might be getting a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

For traders, that pinnacle moment is undoubtedly ringing the famous market bell.

On March 12, 2019, the StocksToTrade team had the immense honor of doing just that. That’s right: members of the STT team made an indelible mark on the trading world by ringing Nasdaq’s closing bell!

Ringing the market bell is no small thing … So, of course, there’s a little pomp and circumstance around the event. It all commenced on an auspiciously green day shortly before the market close at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square.

Michael Markes, Nasdaq Managing Director of Global Information Services, began the ceremony with an introduction of StocksToTrade. He commended its advanced real-time market data and stock scanners. And he talked up its many features — access to Level 2 data, charts, fundamentals, breaking news, SEC filings, and more — all in one platform.

He then introduced StocksToTrade’s Tim Bohen and Tim Sykes. Here’s a little background, in case you’re not familiar with those names:

  • Tim Bohen is StocksToTrade’s leader of trading and training, as well as the host of the SteadyTrade podcast, which has over 100K downloads every month.
  • Tim Sykes is a trading celebrity who needs little introduction … but here’s something you might not know: he helped develop StocksToTrade’s advanced tools!

Broker-integration partner Tradier also joined the group, along with several members of the STT team.

The two trading Tims then hit the podium to say a few words about StocksToTrade. What did they say? Did someone cry? Check out the video for the full deets and to see if anyone sheds a tear (hint: keep your eye on Tim … we can’t tell you which one).

They then received a commemorative crystal and were joined by the rest of the team. And StocksToTrade had the privilege of ringing one of the most important bells in the market. It was an incredible experience!
