WASHINGTON — The U.S. Federal Reserve on Wednesday reported that its contacts at companies across the country were worried that international trade tensions could weigh on business even as economic activity picked up. Singapore’s private sector economy continued to expand in May, albeit at a slower pace, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed on Thursday with a business PMI score of 52.1.
